| Description: | "I started playing guitar and drums in 1993 and learned to play by imitating the thrash gods as best I could (Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer primarily.) I became aware of the VGM community in the early 2000's and recorded a handful of songs for the original vgmix.com in 2002 and 2003. Then I took quite a long hiatus returning briefly in 2007 to contribute to Dwelling of Duel's Castlevania month. DoD drew me in again with Virt Month and I've contributed more regularly since then." | |
| About the Game: | "I can't remember reading about Secret of Mana before it was released but I'm sure it was in Nintendo Power. Due to the timing of the release date, my brother probably asked for it as a birthday present. In any case, we played it numerous times from start to finish, grinding to max the levels on all weapons and spells more than once. Of course it had great music. We were drawn to games with the best music and took that somewhat for granted. I also took for granted that my brother enjoyed playing games with me at all. He gave up gaming almost completely toward the end of the N64 generation and I havenŐt been able to play the game properly since. For me at least, it's tedious and difficult as a single player game." | |
